Terms of Use

1. Definitions

• Platform: the Narena mobile app and the narena.app website, operated by PLACARSOFT LTDA.
• User: any individual who registers and uses the Platform.
• Player: a user who uses the Platform to book courts and take part in matches, leagues and tournaments.
• Club: a sports venue registered on the Platform that offers courts and services.
• Coach: a racquet-sports professional registered on the Platform to offer lessons and training.

2. Acceptance of the Terms

By creating an account or using the Narena Platform, you declare that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision, you must not use the Platform.

3. Registration and Account

To use the Platform's services, you must:

• Be at least 18 (eighteen) years old.
• Provide truthful, complete and up-to-date information when registering.
• Keep your account credentials confidential.
• Be responsible for all activity carried out under your account.

Narena reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that contain false information.

4. Bookings and Cancellations

The Platform allows Players to book courts at partner Clubs. The following rules apply:

• Bookings are subject to availability and to the rules set by each Club.
• Cancellation of bookings must follow the cancellation policy of each Club, available at the time of booking.
• Narena acts as an intermediary and is not responsible for the services provided by the Clubs.

5. Payments

Payments on the Platform are processed via PIX and credit card, through the Asaas payment gateway. By making a payment, you agree to the following conditions:

• Amounts are automatically split between the participants of the booking (split payment).
• Narena may charge service fees on transactions, which will be disclosed before payment confirmation.
• Refunds follow the Club's cancellation policy and will be processed through the same method as the original payment.
• Narena is not responsible for payment-processing failures caused by third parties (financial institutions, payment gateway).

6. Matchmaking and the ELO System

The Platform uses an ELO-based rating system to rank players and facilitate matchmaking. Categories range from 1st to 7th, with 300 ELO points per category. The rating is calculated automatically based on the results of recorded matches. Narena does not guarantee the absolute accuracy of the rating or the quality of matches formed by the matchmaking system.

7. User Responsibilities

By using the Platform, you agree to:

• Use the Platform ethically and in compliance with applicable law.
• Not use the Platform for illegal, fraudulent or abusive purposes.
• Respect other users, Clubs and Coaches.
• Not attempt to access restricted areas, manipulate the rating system or interfere with the Platform's operation.
• Show up for confirmed bookings or cancel within the stipulated deadline.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to logos, trademarks, text, images, source code, design and features, is the exclusive property of PLACARSOFT LTDA or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution or modification of any content without prior express authorization is prohibited.

9. Limitation of Liability

Narena:

• Acts as a technology intermediary between Players, Clubs and Coaches, and is not responsible for the direct provision of sports services.
• Does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Platform.
• Is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Platform.
• Is not liable for physical injuries, accidents or any damages occurring during sports activity.

10. Changes to the Terms

Narena reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Changes will be communicated through the app or by e-mail. Continued use of the Platform after notification of the changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of the Comarca of Tijucas, State of Santa Catarina, to the exclusion of any other, however privileged it may be.
